- Tight bowling and good fielding setup by Sequence ensured wkts fell at regular interval.
- At 10 overs, 35 for 6. Mostly batsmen were caught at boundary while trying to accelerate.
- Sharib and Subhash do some big hitting at the end to bring respectability to NEC-HCL score.
- 89 for 9 at the end of 20 overs and Team Sequence is smiling for they expected 140+ score given NEC's record.

Sequence's inning
- Very tight balling Gaurav, Subhash & co. makes Sequence play dot balls.
- At 9 overs , 26 for 2 wkts. Sharib cleaning out the openers.
- Shyamal comes in and does some big hitting along with dinesh.

- 17th Over : Rahul pulls a full-toss from Subhash for a six. NEC appeals for 'dead' ball.

- Rahul tries same shot again and is caught beutifully by Sharib.
- Shyamal hits another big six off Sharib but Sharib gets his revenge by taking him and rest of the tail there-after.

- Tight bowling by Swami & co. ensured slow start by Calypto.
- 1st boundary was hit only in the 12th over!
- Lack of runs puts pressure on batsmen. Chasing elusive/impossible singles resulted in 5 run-outs!
- Key batsmen, Goldie & Manish dissapoint.
- Gagan kept his cool on the other end to make a well deserved 54 of 50.
- 30 runs in last 3 overs, including a 6 from Tasnif ensured a respectable score of 99.
